I would like to introduce the catalog of Sanshin Giken of 1988. I’m personally used to the company name Sansin Seisakusho. I happened to know the company name had changed by this catalog. Anyway, the company is specialty brand of sport bicycle hub.

I think that those who are my generation had used hub of this company. I myself had used Pro-Am and Gyromaster. Hubs of Sansin were used to lots of bicycle of mass-production brand. Series of Suntour Superve were also provide by Sansin. Note; each model of Suntour is introduced on this catalog.

The company location is printed as Matsumoto city, Nagano prefecture on the table 4 of this catalog. But the catalog of 1981 described the company location as Yuraku-Cho, Chiyoda ward, Tokyo, and factory location as Matsumoto city, Nagano prefecture. I guess that change of company name might relate to moving head office to factory location.

Sansin building was one of keeping the shape of its completion on 1929. However, it was demolished on 2007. Afterward, a building Tokyo mid town Hibiya was built at the land.
