Here is the catalog of Toei in 1969. It was distributed at Tokyo cycling center. The catalog explained in detail about custom frame. It's usable even now.

Nowadays, road bike, MTB, cross bike, and subspecies of them are main model as sports bicycle. And new material such as aluminum, carbon, and titanium became ordinary materials for bicycle frame. Touring bicycle which was made of the steel, and equipped with fender and carrier, almost disappeared from the catalog of mass-production maker.

There are a number of people who imagine that Toei is old type randonneur which is equipped with classic parts. However, there are some cyclists who compose a touring bicycle with present parts or compose an intrepid, powerful road-racer with a steel frame. Whatever the purpose of the frame, the careful works and the ability of TOEI which build a frame with such accuracy and quality and good taste are great after all.
