I would like to introduce the catalog of Suntour of 1992. I think athlete on the front page might be a professional rider. Suntour run into financial difficulty.since around 1990, got capital participation from Mori Kogyo on 1991. However, the company was end as SR Suntour on 1994.

In this catalog, off-road group set XC-Pro MD and XXC-Comp MD which were innovated micro drive system, and Power-Flo cog which improved gear change function were introduced as new products. Micro Drive System (Front 42-32-20T, Rear 11-24T) was a new idea which shortened the diameter of chain wheel and rear sprockets. Because of this new system, bicycle gained weight saving. Moreover it protected the gear from the crush by rock or stump by extend the space between a chain wheel and ground. The idea was quite simple. But this conception affected to products of other brand.
