Here is the catalog of Silk Mania Sports in 1979. Because of its quality, Silk had had good reputation as mass-production bicycle in those days.
My first custom bicycle was also Silk and it's a reason why the Catalog of reminiscence began from Silk bicycle. It was appropriate to Silk since the catalog was quite simple.

This is the front cover and road-racing model Super. There were two models such as Dura-ace model and Superbe model. Direct seat stays and full plated front-fork were characteristic. Here is large image.

These were traditional R2 Road-racer and R1 Track-racer and Randoneur DX. The pearl shine white which was the trade color of Silk was used for Road-racing model and Track-racing model. The trait of Randoneur DX was the front fender which was long enough. Here is large image.
