The Catalog of Reminiscence

The Invitation for Cycling by Mr.Gami

Part 16: Sannow Sports in 1960s

I've received several catalogs from many cyclists who visited this website. I greatly appreciate them.
Here is the catalog of Sannow Sports in 1960s. Sannow was one of the long-established shop (or it was rather a wholesaler), had produced original brand bicycle such as Eminenza and Santa Rosa. The catchphrase "La joie de vivre" (joy of living) was impressive to me.
I still carefully keep the book "The method of riding at road racing" which was written in 1974 by Mr. Nagatoshi Takahashi who was a shopkeeper.

The catalog was offered by Mr. Marumu.

This is the front cover. The photograph was taken at the tour or the other competition in those days? I could feel atmosphere of the time from the racing cap and the casque.

This is Eminenza. It seemed to be equipped with TA Professional ring and Campagnolo Gran-sport. I can feel the atmosphere of the road-racing bicycle of those days from the fork offset and the chain-stay length.

This is the track-racing bicycle. It seemed to be equipped with Campagnolo Record chain-wheel and hub. The painting method which uses different color at middle of tube was popular in those days.
The photo seemed to be taken at Japan.

This is the back cover. This was a goal scene of some classic races at Italy or somewhere? Mmm, I can't distinguish it by my knowledge.
