This time, I introduce the catalog of De Rosa and Nagasawa.
Perhaps I don't need to explain why I put these catalogs simultaneously.
De Rosa suddenly became a major brand since Eddy Merckx had ridden it.
In Japan, it came to appear in advertisement of Yokoo Ringyo from that time.
I was convinced when I read the copy "the difference of professional and amateur is only the thickness of BB" in the advertisement of Yokoo Ringyo.
Nowadays, De Rosa is a big maker and the main material of frame became carbon fiber and titanium and aluminum.
Mr. Nagasawa who had learned at De Rosa and had made effort for the bicycle of Merckx established his own brand "Nagasawa" after returning to Japan.
Nagasawa was a direct line of De Rosa.
It had an Italian taste such as frame stickers of typical Italian racing model of those days, the fork crown which was same shape as De Rosa, and the engraving on several parts of frame.
The red track-racing bicycle which had won ten times victory with Koich Nakano in the World championship impressed the ability of Nagasawa.
By the way, I have used a plating fork crown of Nagasawa which was a yearning of those days to my touring-bicycle of metallic sky blue. I love its simple and powerful image.
The catalog was offered by Mr. Akuta.
