The Invitation for Cycling by Mr.Gami

Part 45: The Miyata in 1978

Here is the catalog of Miyata in 1978. "The Miyata" was a series which was announced at the 90th anniversary of Miyata. There were three kinds of road-racing bicycle in the lineup. Miyata produced this series with all of their technology, bearing in mind that the models would be used at European professional road-race.
Miyata used domestic parts as much as they could. It was unique, because though Shimano was used as main parts, only the chain-wheel and the seat-post were Sakae.
The series was succeeded to Koga-Miyata.

The catalog was offered by Mr. F. K.

Left side was the front cover and right side was the back cover. Miyata had sold a frame as a single item.
