Part 46: Everest Esprit in 1977

Here is the catalog of Everest Esprit in 1977. Esprit was sold as frame set and complete bicycle. It's not a custom model.
The model had variation such as three frame sizes, six frame colors and four grades.
The price of complete bicycle was from 113,000 to 160,000 yen, and the price of a frame was 55, 000 yen. Esprit was low price model in the Everest brand.
There was another track-racing model Sprint which had been announced along with Esprit. I don't exhibit it this time.

This is the front cover. Although it was a low price model, it still had luxurious taste which was suitable for Everest brand.

Mod 1 was a standard model. It was equipped with the parts which were lower than middle grade such as Sakae (chain-wheel, stem, and seat post), Shimano 600 (hubs, freewheel, and derailleur), and Yoshigai 500G brakes.
Toe clip and strap was omitted.

Mod 2 was a bit high grade model. It was equipped with Dura-ace (chain-wheel, freewheel, derailleur and brakes).

Mod 3 was equipped with Dura-ace group-set. The stem and the pedal were also high grade models.

Except for brake set, Mod 4 was equipped with high grade parts such as Suntour (Cyclone derailleur, Winner freewheel) and Sugino (Mighty-victory chain-wheel).

The back cover was a specification table.

The price list was an offprint.
